Trail Activities
In 2006 the W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded the Parks Foundation of Kalamazoo County a grant to increase usage of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, thus improving the health of citizens in Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties. A dedicated staff at the Kalamazoo County Parks Department regularly organizes and implements special programming along the trail. April 6th: Groundbreaking
The Kalamazoo Nature Center is the next big stop on the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail. Come join us for this special groundbreaking ceremony! Help us to kick off construction on the next segment of the KRVT, which will run from Mosel Avenue, through the Kalamazoo Nature Center to D Avenue.
